On Wednesday, Westmoreland County completed repairs for groin #3 at Cabin Point Beach.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But they also needed to clear a wide path to get the equipment needed to install the new pilings down to the beach, creating a risk that ATVs and other motorized vehicles could use the path to get down on the beach.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On Saturday seven volunteers got together to dig up some no longer needed split rail fence at the Cabin Point boat ramp and install it at the CP Beach to control unauthorized access to the beach, Thanks go to Don Chamberlain, Jenny Fortney, Bob Frank, Ed Jacques,  Gary Palsgrove, Fred Selby, and Bill Spencer.
