Water Exercise Classes

Once the pool opens, water exercise classes will again be offered to residents at no charge. Linda Steele will run the class Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 am to 10 am. This class offers stretching along with some moderate strength exercises using both legs and arms. Pool noodles and small boards can be brought to class by individuals for some of the exercises.

Dawn Wharton will be offering water Fitness classes Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 9 am to 9:30 am. This exercise class is to enhance or increase flexibility, core, and muscle strength, agility, and cardiovascular fitness for the whole body. The water buoyancy equals easy on the joints; the water resistance equals muscle workout; and you work at your own pace.

Both classes may be canceled if the air temperature is below 70, for weather related reasons, or if the instructor is unavailable.
