Glebe Harbor Civic Association – February 2022 News

In this month’s issue of the NEWS, I would like to highlight two things.  Last month, Cabin Point’s President, Marion Dongieux and I wrote a joint article for the NEWS seeking interested parties for 2 Board positions coming open in June on our respective Civic Association Boards.  To date we have heard from no one.  This month, Marion has tried to outline the time and effort it would cost someone if they would join one of the Boards.  I urge everyone to look at his message.  His insight accurately captures what it will cost you to serve on either Board.  Please consider volunteering your time and join your Civic Association Board.

Second, I would like to highlight something that is available to all lot owners in both communities and that is the GH-CP Association’s website, www.gh-cp.org .  To access the various community Tabs and information therein you will need a Login ID and Password.  You can obtain your Login ID and Password by calling the GH-CP Association clubhouse at (804) 472-3646.  This website has a ton useful information on it such as a Community Directory of lot owners which is updated on a regular basis,  a directory of Community Service Providers, local phone numbers of Westmoreland County Contacts and Departments, activities and social events available within the community, and of course the monthly News which is posted on the website once a month.  Please, take advantage of this useful community website.  And, if you have a new neighbor move in next to you, please, pass this handy information on to them as well.
