Pool Use is Up 72% over 2018!

Wow! The number of people using the pool this year is up 72% over the same period last year! More residents are making visits to the pool a big part of enjoying the amenities the GHCP SD is able to provide. The investments we have made in refurbishment, extended hours, creating opportunities for unattended use of the pool, and hosting family friendly events and activities seem have been appreciated. Our pool guards have really stepped up this year as well – if you agree please let them know when you visit the pool. Speaking of events, July’s Howl at the Moon was another huge success! We served around 60 hamburgers and 80+ hot dogs, and folks brought a variety of dishes to share. We topped it off with ice cream sundaes! Music provided by our volunteers played throughout the evening. Thanks again to all who brought dishes to share, grilled, served, and cleaned up.
