Just in time for the Fourth of July, the dredging of the Weatherall Creek channel has been completed. The sand has been placed on the spit, and jetties have been reenforced to help keep it there. Now that this work has been completed, new No Wake signs that conform to DGIF standards will be posted here, and at Cabin Point Creek to promote boating safety and help protect our waterways from further erosion.
