The Cabin Point Beach has lost 12 to 18 inches of sand at the end or the access ramp this year. Every year we go through periods of erosion and accretion, so with some luck Mother Nature may return some of what she has taken away! In the meantime, our Property Manager, Jim Moore, has added a step to make getting down to shoreline a bit easier. But please be careful, as that part of the beach is more rock than sand now, the water is frequently up to the new step, and the footing can be tricky. Fortunately, the rest of Cabin Point Beach seems to be in better shape. (Posted 7.4.2018)
