Summer has now come and gone, but the memories made especially with family and friends will last a lifetime.

A big thank you to Dawn Wharton for hosting three “Howl at the Moon” events this summer.  She did a great job, and we appreciate all that she does for the community.

I want to thank all the volunteers that lent me a hand with the Holiday Cookouts. I could not have done it without you. (Jeanne and Buddy Axtell, Linda and Donnie Whittaker, Dot and Bill Spencer, Bob Frank, and C.C. Murphy)

Now, “Fall is in the Air.”

Happy Hour is going strong.  The attendance varies anywhere from 30 to 50 people.  Thanks to everyone for coming out and a special thanks to all who have hosted this event. We have had good times and great food!

Mark your calendars for:

October 30 — Oyster Roast  from 2-5:00 pm– Hosted by Kathy and John Gold –$30 per person.

December 11 — Christmas Party for Adults — Hosted by Jane Heron, Janice Fletcher and Angi Murphy $ tbd (Brian from Angelo’s will be catering).

We need hosts for the following activities:

Halloween (Trunk or Treat for the children)

Christmas Party for Children w/Santa (Morning)

New Year’s Eve – Friday, December 31

Super Bowl – Sunday, February 13

Valentine – Monday, February 14

Finally, I want to extend a big thank you to Teresa Edwards who does a tremendous job keeping the office running and who is always there willing to give a helping hand.
