For the past two years, volunteers have been waging a losing battle to maintain beach access as more and more sand washed away. But now that the northern groins have been repaired, we expect sand to stop eroding and hopefully begin to accrete. So this week, Buddy Axtell, Fran Beach, Joe Dent, Bob Dunn, Gary Palsgrove, Bill Spencer, Doug Townsend, Dana Tucker, and Dawn Wharton installed a 16 foot long ramp that will make it easier for members and guests to get down to the beach.
