A hearty thank you and “shout-out” of appreciation to the volunteers who helped at Saturday’s GH Beach clean-up day.  This was the first beach clean-up day at Glebe Harbor and we expect to have a few more over the next several weeks.

Thanks to Mike and Linda Berry, Tiffany Caylor, Phil and Valerie Helm, Lora Lynn Jones, Angi Murphy, and Buddy and Jeanne Axtell.  And a special thank you to Bob Harris who came in earlier in the week and crafted some benches from the old pilings at the beach.  You can have a seat, look out at the water, and listen to the eagle’s scree.

Beach clean-up dates will also be scheduled at Cabin Point Beach as the repair work on the groins continues and a new access ramp/stairs to the beach is built.  Stay tuned for more updates on improvements to the beaches. (Posted 6.14.20)
