Many of you may have seen information about All Points Broadband coming to our area soon.  This initiative is designed to provide underserved areas with Internet availability.  Northern Neck counties have provided funding to support the initiative, but that doesn’t mean the service is coming to GH-CP any time soon.  Westmoreland County contributed $700,000 to the initiative to provide internet capability to underserved communities within the County.  Initial connection is occurring in other adjacent counties (e.g. Richmond) but, to date, no homeowner in Westmoreland County has been connected to the new service. Communities like GH-CP will not be eligible to connect to this service until after the underserved communities, for whom the funding was provided, have been connected.  For further information, see the Broadband website.  https://allpointsbroadband.com/
