Bio of Marcia Thomason
Marcia Read Thomason was born and raised in Wisconsin and graduated from Ripon College, with a degree in Physical education and teaching.
Although she enjoyed arts and crafts growing up, her creative juices really flowed when she moved to the Northern Neck with Glen!
Many of us have enjoyed the beautiful table centerpieces she created for Clubhouse events, and the themed party decorations as well. But did you know that Marcia has also mastered spinning, weaving, sewing, including quilts, and silk scarf painting, which she taught for a number of years? More recently, she has delved deeper into drawing techniques, including the grid system used to produce Montross’ downtown murals.
