Updated Coronavirus Guidance.
Based on CDC criteria, the Westmoreland County COVID-19 Community Level had briefly risen to HIGH in the past few weeks, but the most recent weekly data (as of 8.1.2022) reflect that the COVID-19 Community Level has again dropped to MEDIUM. We are not recommending any changes in use of community facilities at this time. Here are the latest CDC recommended actions.
COVID-19 Community Level at Medium.
CDC Recommended actions based on the current level.
–Stay up-to-date with COVID-19 vaccines.
–Get tested if you have symptoms.
–Wear a mask if you have symptoms, a positive test, or exposure to someone with COVID-19.
–Wear a mask on public transportation.
–You may choose to wear a mask as an additional precaution to protect yourself and others.
–If you are at high risk for severe illness, consider wearing a mask indoors in public and taking additional precautions.
Masking is optional in Sanitary District recreational facilities managed by the GHCP Association. We encourage those with health concerns for themselves or family members to consult with their health care provider about whether to wear a mask when indoors in congregate settings. Masks and sanitizers are available for use by anyone in the facility.
