Updated Coronavirus Mitigation Guidance

The GHCP Board’s guidance for events in facilities we manage is that masking remains optional, but adherence to CDC guidelines is strongly encouraged.  The board strongly encourages residents using the GHCP Association clubhouse to follow the latest CDC guidance on vaccinations, boosters, masking, and social distancing.

Yesterday, the CDC strengthened its recommendations on vaccinations and urged all Americans over age 18 who are fully vaccinated to also receive the booster shot to prevent serious illness from Covid-19.

Previously, in September, the CDC upgraded its recommendations to encourage both unvaccinated and fully vaccinated persons to mask in public indoor settings in areas of substantial or high risk for transmission of COVID-19.

While masking remains optional when attending events at the clubhouse, we rely on residents to make informed personal decisions about whether attendance at meetings and social events at the Clubhouse are safe for that individual.  The GHCP Board is working with event hosts for holiday celebrations to encourage social distancing as well as we can by limiting overall attendance and by spacing tables and chairs for event activities.

Masks and hand sanitizer will continue to be available at the clubhouse.  Stay safe and be well during the holiday season!
