General Membership Meeting December 4th – Board members are preparing for the next General Membership meeting which will be held in the Clubhouse on Saturday, December 4th at 9:30 am. Notices regarding the meeting have been sent to members along with proxy forms. Proxies are also available in the latest edition of the Glebe Pointer. Proxies are due in the office by close of business Friday, November 26th.
Budget Matters – Treasurer Fred Selby presented the proposed Sanitary District and GH-CP Association budgets and funds analysis for the current fiscal year; pre-planning information for FY 2022-2023; and identification of CIP (Capital Improvement Plan) items for consideration in FY 2022-2026. For GHCPA budget planning, there was discussion of the proposed FY 2022-2023 budget including proposed fee increases for boat storage rentals. The Board agreed to increase the boat storage rental fee to $125 per year.
Addition of Sports Channels to the Clubhouse Service – At the request of some community members, sports channels were added to the Clubhouse service. Use of the service has been limited thus far. Anyone interested in utilizing the service should contact Coordinator Barbi White at whitebmw12@yahoo.com .
Social Events – Angi Murphy updated the Board on upcoming social events:
- December 11th – Adult Christmas Party
- December 18th – Children’s Christmas Party
- New Year’s Eve party being planned
- Second Thursday of the month – painting classes with Teresa Edwards
- April 2022 – Spring Fling Arts and Crafts event being planned
