The leaves are falling, and the firepits are being lit as the weather is brisker and the days are getting shorter.  It’s time to get those warm jackets out.

By the time you read this, the Oyster Roast will have taken place.  This year, the number of tickets sold was a whopping 124 and that surpasses all previous roasts.  Thanks to all of you who purchased tickets!  A special thanks goes to Kathy and John Gold for coordinating this event and to all the volunteers who gave freely of their time to make it a great success.

The Sports Viewers are enjoying the Saturday and Sunday games and want to invite you to join them at the clubhouse.  Barbi White is the coordinator, and she can be reached at whitebmw12@yahoo.com .

Several upcoming events for which we now have hosts include:

• The Children’s Christmas party (DTBD) – hosted by Angela Bensen.
• The Adult Christmas party (December 11) – hosted by Jane Heron, Janice Fletcher and Angi Murphy
• New Year’s Eve party – hosted by Barbi White and Deanna Rudnick
• Super Bowl party (February 13) – hosted by Barbi White and Deanna Rudnick

The pool players are meeting on Thursdays at 1:00 p.m.  Dawn Wharton is the coordinator and can be reach at dcwharton61@gmail.com.

Tuesday’s Happy Hour from 5:00-7:00 p.m. has been moved to the rotunda of the clubhouse.  Thanks to all who participate in this event and especially to those who have hosted.
