New dialing procedure for local calls:

Beginning October 24, 2021, you must dial the area code + telephone for all local calls in Virginia area codes 276 & 804.

To complete all local calls, you need to dial either the area code + telephone number or 1 + area code + telephone number.  This applies to all calls within your area code (e.g. 804) that are currently dialed with seven digits.

On or after October 24, 2021, local calls dialed with only 7 digits may not be completed and a recording may inform you that your call cannot be completed as dialed.

Additionally consider that all services, automatic dialing equipment, and other equipment programmed to complete calls to 7-digit local numbers will need to be reprogrammed to complete calls to 10-digit numbers.

Community Directory September updates:

Members may access the updated documents in the password protected Documents/GHCPA section, under the About Us tab.

  • The Member Information (Appendix A) file contains a current version of members’ contact information, including mailing address, phone number and email address. Updated Sept. 6, 2021.
  • The Property Ownership (Appendix B) file contains information on properties owned by Owner’s name and Property location detail.  Updated Sept. 6, 2021.
  • The Membership Information Updates file contains just the changes to Appendix A since the printed version was published. Members can use this as an insert to keep their printed directories up to date. Updated Sept. 6, 2021
  • The GHCP Community Directory file contains information about the community itself, the GHCP Association and the Civic Associations.  Last updated July 5, 2021.

The current GHCP Community Directory was published in August 2019. A few printed copies are still available at the Association office.

Members who wish to have their information included in the next update to the Directory should contact the GHCP office at ghcpassoc@gmail.com, or 804-472-3646.
