Crystal Lane Beach Update

The contractor has dug out and removed several truckloads of old stumps that were apparently buried there years ago when the area was being developed. Over the years, the stumps had rotted and led to the many sinkholes that have now been filled in. The invasive phragmities that had overgrown the drainage swale along the side of the property have been dug out and hauled away, and the sand berm at the beach has been restored. In the next weeks the contractor will be filling in some areas that have settled, spreading topsoil and seeding. We continue to work with the County and the contractor to improve drainage along the front of the property.  (Posted 3.2.2020)
