Demolition has been completed, and new drains have been installed in the wading pool. New waterline tiles and coping have been ordered. As temperatures rise, repairs will be made to the beam structure around the pool, and new coping and tiles will be installed. The cost of the contract is now $72,482 for refurbishment of the main pool and the children’s wading pool and other necessary repairs discovered as the work progressed.
The pool refurbishment project is not being funded directly from the current fiscal year budget (FY 2018 – 2019.) It has been made possible only because we are no longer required to maintain a one-year debt service reserve escrow account of $72,000. (Posted 3.15.19)
