The much anticipated refurbishment of the GHCP Pool began this week. Demolition of the coping and waterline tiles  will be completed in the next few days and will be followed by the installation of new drains, replacement of the coping and waterline tiles, general cleaning, and application of an epoxy surface treatment.  As we discussed in the December 1st General Membership Meeting, Millennium Pools of Springield, VA was the low bidder for the project. The Westmoreland County Board of Supervisors (acting in their capacity as the GH-CP Sanitary District Board of Directors) approved the $57,759 contract on December 10, 2018. The County was able to expedite the formal contract process, and work began on December 19th. (Posted 12.19.18)
