It’s hard to believe summer is already coming to an end!  We have one more big summer bash planned just for you – our Labor Day Weekend Cookout on Saturday, August 30th from 1–3 PM. Join us for hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, water, and ice cream as we celebrate a wonderful pool season together.  Volunteers are needed for grilling and serving—if you can help, please reach out to Kathy Gold at 703-383-4078 or by email at kathy@kathygoldcde.org.

The pool will remain open until Sunday, September 14th with limited hours:
– Monday–Friday: 2–6 PM
– Saturday & Sunday: 12–6 PM
– Exercise Class with Linda Steele: Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9–10 AM

Please note that no lifeguard will be on duty.  Swimming will be at your own risk. Volunteers are needed to cover 1–2 hour shifts at the check-in station. You can sign up at the pool or contact Kathy Gold directly. Let’s make the most of these last sunny days before closing!

Plans are also underway for fall cleaning and pool closing activities. Watch for announcements in Happenings—we will need extra hands to get everything buttoned up for the season.
