GHCP Community CLEAN-UP and CLEAN-OUT DAY

Spring is here and it is time to clean up and beautify our community!
We are arranging a volunteer-run community clean-up to help our neighbors collect and dispose of yard waste, trash, and unused appliances. No hazardous waste will be collected (see separate article about where to take those items). Items to be disposed of should be bagged, out of the house, and be positioned in the front yard for pickup. A pre-inspection will be required if you indicate you need help moving items out of the residence. Yard waste should also be positioned for easy access in the front yard and bundled when possible.
Reservations are required to arrange pick up at your residence and may require a pre-inspection to ensure we have adequate space for your materials. Reservations need to be confirmed by Sunday evening, May 11.
To make a reservation for pick up, email GHCPresourcecommittee@gmail.com with subject line Clean-up day and provide the following information:
Name, address, phone contact number, type of waste to be disposed of with indication of quantity.
Volunteers are Needed!
Community volunteers are critical to make this effort successful. Help loading/unloading and trucks and trailers for collection are needed. Please email GHCPresourcecommittee@gmail.com with subject line Volunteer and provide the following information:
Name, address, phone contact number, and volunteer capacity – truck, trailer, loading and/or unloading assistance. To help us best coordinate this event, please send your volunteer message as soon as possible and before Friday, May 2nd.
All volunteers will meet at the clubhouse at 7:30 am on the 17th. Lite snacks and beverages will be provided. Please bring work gloves. All other supplies for this event will be provided (trash bags, hand sanitizer, transfer station coupons, etc.).
