We’re looking forward to another fantastic pool season, and plans are already underway to make it a great one!

We’ll kick off the season with a cookout on Saturday, May 24th, from 1–3 PM. Come join us!  We’re excited to introduce our new pool manager, Aven Clarke. Three of our lifeguards—Giovanni, Kendall, and Morgan—are returning this year, and we’ve also welcomed two new lifeguards, Teagan and Grayson. Please be sure to introduce yourself to our pool staff who are dedicated to making this an enjoyable and safe summer for everyone.

Pool Hours:

  • Monday–Thursday: 12 PM – 7 PM
  • Friday: 12 PM – 8 PM
  • Saturday and Holidays: 10 AM – 8 PM
  • Sunday: 10 AM – 7 PM

Fitness Classes:

  • Water Aerobics with Linda Steele: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9–10 AM
  • Exercise Class with Dawn Wharton: Tuesday and Thursday from 9–9:45 AM

Important Reminders:

  • Access cards are required for entry. We’ll also be updating emergency contact information—please double-check your details.
  • Swim Tests: All children under 12 must take a swim test each season to swim in the deep end. Once they pass, they’ll receive a numbered bracelet to wear. Even if they passed last year, they must retest this season.

New This Year: We’re offering quiet adult swim on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11 AM – 12 PM. Lifeguards will be on duty in the pool area but may not be in the chair as they prepare for regular opening at noon. Swim lessons will also be offered during this time. We’ll review this option as the summer progresses.

Upcoming Events:

  • Howl at the Moon – Saturday,  June 14th:
    The pool will stay open for swimming until 9 PM, with karaoke and socializing continuing until 10 PM! The Lucky Duck Food Truck will be onsite from 4:30–7 PM. Don’t miss it!
  • Swim Lessons:
    Swim lessons will begin the week of June 16th. Registration forms are available at the pool, or you can contact Kathy Gold at (703) 282-4078 or Kathy@kathygoldcde.org.
