Dave Milne, your Neighborhood Watch Coordinator, needs help!  Three people have stepped down from patrol duties and replacement volunteers are needed.  This is a great way to help out your community on your own time schedule…..morning, noon, night, or sometime in between!  If you can offer up a little time to drive around and check out the neighborhood, please contact Dave at dave_tracym@yahoo.com.

In other news, Jeff McCormack (our District 2 Supervisor) will be helping to get us a speed calming plan, starting with the placement of 2 digital speed machines within the next week or two.  These will be placed on Royal Way and Glebe Harbor Drive and are similar to the one you see entering Montross.  School is back in session; please drive safely!

And remember, if you see something, say something. Check on your elderly neighbors.  And don’t hesitate to call the Sheriff’s Office if you see that something isn’t quite right.
