UPDATE 08.28.26 – As of today, there have been no further updates from any of the agencies involved and no plans for testing the creek water. The original advice from the Health Department remains the advice we have been given.
We’ve received the following update from Brendan Rivenbark, Director of Three Rivers Health District regarding the sewage spill into Cabin Point Creek on August 3. He recommends increased vigilance over the next 10 days as rainwater further dilutes the impacted areas. If additional sampling and testing of the creek waters occurs, we will make testing results available to the community once it is communicated with us.
