On Sunday, the well-attended spring season finale featured Bonnie and Kevin Luccio, Wanda Dalling, Amr Seoudy, and Lisa Shannon sharing their recent experiences in Egypt. It opened as an Egyptian feast prepared by Wanda and Amr: a local dish called koshary, Egyptian meatballs called kofta, plus various side dishes and beverages provided by Bonnie. Lisa contributed two kinds of baklava. Once everyone was served and seated, Bonnie and Kevin shared photos and most of the lively narrative. Show and tell was assisted by a long table full of Bonnie’s souvenirs and mineral collection from the Egyptian desert.

The series will take the summer off, but will resume in September. Watch for announcements in the coming weeks.
