Highlights of the General Membership Meeting 08.29.26

If you missed today’s meeting, see the link below to access the slide deck that was used.  It contains some of the survey results received thus far.  It also contains a slide with all the pertinent dates for the remaining pool, food truck, and oyster roast activities.  Those dates are also available in the news article “End of summer pool information and dates to save.”

Some news from Don Hess, our Neighborhood Watch Coordinator:   Several complaints about school buses speeding were relayed to law enforcement.  Residents are advised to call the Sheriff’s Office and try to provide the school bus number if they feel it was speeding.

Comments from residents:

  1. Question:  Are we going to do something about the lights in the pool?                 Answer:   We are in the process of securing bids to change from 120 V to a low voltage system.  The work would be done after the pool closes for the season.
  2. Question:  Are we going to get cameras around the pool and clubhouse?                             Answer:   A decision has not yet been made; however, the board and the pool committee will be reviewing the survey results.  The playground committee is also in the process of researching various camera systems (with and without WIFI) and will share the results of that research with the board and pool committee.
