What’s the big deal about small toys at the Pool?

The problem is that they sometimes get sucked into the scupper drains. If we are lucky, they actually swim through the pipes and end up in a skimmer basket in the pump room, which is where these little treasures were found recently. But sometimes they get caught and close off that drain, reducing our ability to filter, clarify, and manage water quality.  So, please, don’t send your kids to the pool with small toys.
