Some of you may have heard at least rumors about an incident at the pool just after closing on June 30th involving the removal of some candies from the pool vending machine. One of our guards and several under-age children were involved. Members of the Pool Operations Committee happened to observe and intervened. The Sheriff’s department was called and responded. The parents of those involved have been notified. Even though the cash value of the merchandise involved was minimal, the behavior of all those involved cannot be condoned. The guard involved is no longer employed by the Association and all who were involved in this unfortunate event will not be allowed to use the pool for the remainder of the season.
