Thank you to everyone who has already taken a few minutes to fill out our Community Skills Survey. Your responses have helped paint an exciting picture of what people in our community are eager to learn, share, and teach. These results show just how much creativity, practical knowledge, and talent already exists right here among us.
So far, the top areas of interest include:
- Cooking & Baking
- Woodworking & DIY
- Art & Drawing
- Music (instrument or singing)
- Coding & Technology
- Gardening
- Sewing & Crafts
- Fix-It Basics (simple home and household repairs)
This effort is open to all ages. We are especially eager to hear from:
- Adults looking to learn a new skill or share one they already have
- Parents who would love to see their school-aged children learn practical, creative, or life skills
- Families seeking tutoring or academic support
- Community members willing to teach, mentor, or tutor, whether formally or casually
Your responses help us understand what kinds of workshops, skill-shares, tutoring opportunities, or small group learning experiences would be most helpful — and how we can connect learners with people willing to teach.
If you haven’t filled out the survey yet, we encourage you to do so. It’s quick, easy, and a meaningful way to help shape future opportunities for both kids and adults in our community. Thank you for being part of a community that values learning, creativity, and helping one another grow. We’re excited to see what we can build together.
