On Sunday, February 22, Lisa Shannon presented her art to a lively and intimate group of neighbors who kindly came out in the snowy weather to offer interest and support. She definitely felt the love!
Next up, Debbie Bird will demonstrate the art of spinning wool. Using a fiber called “roving,” she draws out a small amount in a process known as drafting. As she presses the treadle with her foot, the wheel turns and adds twist to the fibers, binding them together and transforming them into yarn. Come watch this fascinating and ancient art form!
