Member Services Update

Here is an update from Rebecca Skinner, Director of Member Services & Clubhouse Operations

A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers who helped make our New Year’s Eve celebration such a success! An extra special shoutout goes to Angi Murphy, Scott Thomas, Jeff and Shelly Preston, Wanda Dalling, and of course, our entertainer Chuck Pearson, who kept the energy high and the dance floor full. Your time, effort, and spirit made the evening unforgettable.

Yes, we’re well into the new year now, and while the temperatures outside are downright frigid (and sometimes even force us to close the clubhouse for activities), the fun doesn’t have to stop.

  • New Book Club – Our newest book club meets on the 4th Thursday of each month. If you’re interested, reach out to Kat White at twingirls07@yahoo.com or Rebecca Skinner with any questions.
  • Line Dancing Success – Our current class is full, but more sessions are on the way. Stay tuned for details.
  • Once Upon a Craft – Valentines Day Cinema – Join us on February 15 for a festive afternoon of crafts and a Valentine’s‑themed movie for Kids of all ages!
  • Game Night – Gather with neighbors for a night of fun and friendly competition.
  • Happy Hour – A gentle reminder that the clubhouse hosts Happy Hour every Tuesday — a great way to connect, meet neighbors, and unwind around that lovely fireplace.
  • And So Much More!

I know many of you have reached out to learn more about upcoming events, and I’m so glad to see such enthusiasm. To make it even easier, instructions for adding the clubhouse calendar to your personal device can be found here so you never miss an event or scheduled activity. When you do, you’ll also be provided with the name of the organizer and their contact information to reach out for more details.

And a friendly reminder: official communication from the association is always posted on the Association Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/GlebeHarborandCabinPoint

Even in the coldest months, our community spirit keeps things lively. Thank you for being part of it… and remember, the fun doesn’t have to stop!
