Income Tax Return Beginner’s Workshop: Saturday, January 10th, from 10 AM to 12 PM at the GHCP Clubhouse. Please RSVP by Wednesday, January 7th, to either conniek61@hotmail.com or GHCPASSOC@gmail.com to help us prepare the printed take-home material packets and get an accurate headcount.

While the workshop will primarily focus on beginner tips for preparing income tax returns, everyone is welcome to attend. We will cover the basics and then dive into the most common additional entries for deductions, specifically the Itemized Deductions Form (Schedule A Form).

If you have questions about what types of receipts to keep, how long to keep them, charitable deductible items, or what to do with the proceeds from a $1,000 lottery ticket win, this workshop will provide the answers. Please bring a pencil/pen and your list of questions. Alternatively, you can email me your questions before January 5th, and I will address them during the workshop anonymously.

Drawing on the speaker’s 30+ years of expertise in Personal & Small Business Income Tax Preparation, our goal is to make tax filing less daunting and to help you avoid procrastination this tax season.
