Dave Milne, Neighborhood Watch Coordinator, has a few reminders for us this month.
- We want everyone to be aware that hunting season is underway, so please be cautious on the roads with running deer, as well as hunting dogs wandering onto our properties. There have been cases of hunters retrieving their animals inside the development and this is allowable under law; actual hunting is not allowable. Contact the sheriff if you see anyone actually hunting in the neighborhood.
- As construction is seeing an uptick, beware of people roaming the roads of GH-CP whom you may not recognize. Keep doors and cars locked to ensure safety. Not trying to make people nervous; just be cautious.
- Finally, I have given notice to the members of the Neighborhood Watch that I will be stepping down as head of the watch effective January of 2026. Too much going on so have to step back from some activities. I’ve put out a notice to members looking for a replacement and will update you when I find one. Editor’s Note: Thinking you should get more involved in your community next year? Here’s a perfect opportunity to continue Dave’s excellent work in running Neighborhood Watch.
