The Westmoreland County Children’s and Senior’s Program is gearing up again this year in organizing their Holiday Gift Shop. As in past years, they plan to assist families who are in need by supplementing them with clothing and other gifts for their children as well as selected seniors during the holiday season.
Residents of GHCP have generously and enthusiastically supported this program for many years. This year, contributions need to be made no later than December 8, 2025. Gifts should be left unwrapped since items will be matched as closely as possible to each senior and child’s age and gender. Please limit the gift value to no more than $25.00. You can bring your gifts to the Clubhouse prior to December 8th as we will need to deliver them to the program by that date. If you prefer to donate money, checks can be made payable to Westmoreland Christmas Program. Please indicate your donation is for “The Holiday Gift Shop.” Donations can be mailed to Joseph Howell, Westmoreland Christmas Program, Westmoreland Social Services, P.O. Box 302, Montross, VA 22520. You will be mailed a receipt verifying your donation.
