Unfortunately, we have continuing incidents of community members dumping their yard waste on GH-CP Association property, area vacant lots, and along the roadways.  This is both illegal and disrespectful to the community.  A Board member or other community volunteer will have to clean up and dispose of the mess.

Please take your yard waste to the transfer station at 350 Poorhouse Rd. in Montross. It is FREE and all you need is one of the recently mailed county windshield stickers. If you don’t have your sticker, present your valid divers license showing your Westmoreland County address to the attendant. Need more decals or have questions, visit or call the Treasurer’s office at 804-493-0124.

The Resource Committee runs Clean Up Day events twice a year where volunteers will transport your yard waste or other items to the Transfer Station and that service is FREE.

Please be a good neighbor and dispose of your yard waste appropriately.
