Question:  Who runs the pool?

Answer:  It’s a group effort.  That said, there are a few names you should know.

The Pool Operations Committee (POC) was chartered by the Board of Directors to ensure an ongoing, safe, successful, effective, and pleasant operation of the GH-CP Pool.  That committee is chaired by Dorothy Spencer, who oversees all operations & activities and coordinates: concessions, swimming lessons, social events, exercise classes, and others as determined by the GH-CP Board.

In terms of the pool itself, Bill Spencer, our long-term Director for Facilities, is stepping down and Steve Merritt has taken over as the Facilities Committee lead for the pool.

Kudos to all these folks for another successful pool opening!
