Why did we send out this survey?

Recently, several owners and residents reported problems and issues of concern about internet services provided by Breezeline.  Jamie Bennett, a resident of Glebe Harbor, recently filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau on behalf of the community regarding issues she and other community members have reported with Breezeline services.  In response, Breezeline reached out to Westmoreland County Administrator, Jim Taylor, to secure additional information regarding the internet service issues within the community.   Association President Fred Selby designated Jamie Bennett as the lead representative for the Glebe Harbor – Cabin Point community, to work in collaboration with the Association and the County to provide the additional information requested by Breezeline to resolve the internet service issues.

The survey questions were intended to provide specific information to Breezeline to enable their engineers to pinpoint locations within the GHCP community where Breezeline services are less than optimal and help identify the problems customers are experiencing. The survey was conducted June 22-27. A link to the survey was sent by email to the 741 email addresses in our member household directory.  It was also posted on both community Facebook pages and in the June newsletter.

What were the results?

We received 185 responses.                                                                                                                                  In summary,

70% (126) Reported “Loss of Internet Service”

24% Reported “Other (or additional) Problems”

24% Reported “No Problems”

 What’s been done with the results?

Survey results and the specific service addresses for those 49 respondents who provided them have been shared with Breezeline and the County Administrator.

What happens next?

Breezeline has reached out today to Jamie to learn more about the specific questions we asked and customer responses. For now, Breezeline advises any resident who is experiencing service problems to call and schedule a service appointment.
