Bill Spencer, our long-term Director for Facilities, is stepping down and Steve Merritt has taken over as the Facilities Committee lead for the pool.  Fresh off the success of the first pool opening in his new position, Steve extends his thanks to all who volunteered to get the 2025 pool season off to a great start.

I wanted to reach out to everyone at the start of our pool season to say thank you.

I hope everyone understands the tremendous amount of work that goes into the operation and commissioning of the GHCP pool every year. The work is done by volunteers within our community as well as members who work year-round ensuring success.

 I want to thank all the volunteers who helped this spring; you can be proud of the varied and sometimes unappealing work that was done without hesitation.

I would like to thank our long-time Pool Facilities coordinator, Bill Spencer. He has been a great tutor and has given me a good start maintaining our very large pool.

I am excited for this new season and hope everyone comes out and makes use of one of our greatest resources at GHCP.
