At Virginia American Water, our customers in the Northern Neck rely on us to provide safe, reliable and affordable drinking water service. That’s why we take a proactive approach to upgrading our infrastructure so we can keep service flowing to you.

In 2024, Virginia American Water invested over $2.8 million throughout the Northern Neck. This includes $1.2 million in grant funding from the Virginia Department of Health. Projects included well upgrades and installation of advanced metering technology.

GLEBE HARBOR WELL PROJECTS
Two existing wells, which had reached the end of their useful life, were replaced in the Glebe Harbor community. This investment project supports continued growth throughout the region, allowing Virginia American Water to meet the growing demand. These new wells comply with regulatory requirements and help to enhance water quality and service reliability.
