GHCP Cares – THANK YOU!

As many of you know, a member of our community tragically lost everything in a devastating house fire. This unfortunate event serves as a reminder of life’s fragility and the importance of coming together as a community to support those in need. With your help, GHCP Cares was able to meet the immediate needs of the family and more. The outpouring of donations has been a beautiful reminder of the strength of our community. The family is profoundly grateful for all the love and kindness extended to them.

What is GHCP Cares?

A grassroots movement of neighbors helping one another in times of need. Below are some of the services we offer:

• Wellness and social well-being checks or visits
• Grocery, medical, and miscellaneous pick-ups
• Local Rides (ex. Doctor Appointments/Grocery)
• Home and property checks while you are away
• Mowing, shoveling, garbage removal, and assistance with lifting

All services are intended as short-term, stopgap solutions for temporary situations, emergencies, and unforeseen circumstances until long-term and more sustainable solutions can be found.

Examples include, but are not limited to:

• Vacations
• Hospitalizations
• Family emergencies
• Medical needs
• Short-term unforeseen or foreseen event
