Volunteers  are needed  to get the pool ready for its 58th season!   This year, Memorial Day is early, so we will be opening on Saturday, May 24th. 

The basic plan will be familiar to many of you. We will have general work sessions from 9 to noon on Tuesdays and Saturdays starting on Tuesday, April 15th. The first few weeks will be focused on pressure washing decks and furniture; repair of any damage over the winter; and assessing the need for painting and other improvements. This year, Steve Merritt will be taking the lead for the spring cleanup and other facilities responsibilities (pump room operations, chemicals, general maintenance for the season. Steve has been partnering with Bill Spencer for some time through the renovation of the clubhouse lounge and ladies room, and took the lead for winterization and maintenance of water quality throughout the winter. Bill plans to continue as a volunteer and provide support as needed.  Our community is greatly in his debt.

Every year it takes about 300 hours of volunteer effort to get the pool ready for opening day. Please join us when you can. And if other times work better for you, we can shift times and tasks to suit your availability.
