Neighborhood Watch Coordinator Dave Milne reports no issues this month. However, lots of animals have been observed each night, so just a reminder from the Watch for drivers to keep their eyes peeled for four-legged creatures!
In addition to our local NW, there is a Countywide Neighborhood Watch Group. Join us starting April 17th 2025.
Starting in April our office will be hosting countywide neighborhood watch meetings. Our monthly meetings will take place the 3rd Thursday of every month starting at 6pm. All meetings will be held at the Sheriff’s Office at 175 Polk Street, Montross, VA. Our countywide neighborhood watch group will be open to everyone. “Neighborhood watch in various forms, has been around for many years. Today it is one of the most popular and successful efforts to prevent residential crime. Here in Virginia it is reported that several hundred thousand households are participating in Neighborhood Watch programs.”
