The End is Near!

After more than a year of planning and hard work at the clubhouse, the standing-seam metal roof and the makeover of the lounge are almost complete. Weather delays and some technical issues slowed down progress on the roof for a while, but in the photo, you can see workers filling in the last section where the overhead power lines connect to the clubhouse.

In the lounge, the fireplace surround has been framed and will soon be covered with a white ledger stone surface and a rustic/beach salvage mantel. The lamps on the end tables are new, and replacement bar stools (with backs) are on order.  The library books are in place, and our plan is for the open space in the other bookcase to host art & crafts “on loan from the collection of……” community residents who offer to display their creations on a rotating basis.
