Wanda Dalling and Amr Seoudy were our Adventurers at the November 24, 2024 presentation of the 5A (authors, artists, artisans, athletes, and adventurers) Series. They brought Egypt to us through stories of many trips there over the past three years. They shared a website with us of vignettes of their travels and bits of Egyptian history. Additionally, we learned hands-on how to write hieroglyphics on papyrus and were shown clothing worn in Egypt. The highlight was tasting Egyptian foods prepared for us – including olive oil from Amr’s family’s olive grove.

There will be no 5A Series in December, but we will resume on January 12, 2025 with Robert Chapman. Happy Holidays to all!
