You may have noticed a new section at the end of Happenings entitled “Closings”. This is a new feature we are using when a community member dies. If a family member wishes to inform the neighborhood of the passing and/or scheduled service, a brief written notice should be submitted to the office at GHCPAssoc@gmail.com. This information must come from a family member to ensure we have permission to publish and that the information is accurate. This is not intended to be a full obituary but, rather, a short notice (which may be edited) indicating the date of death, how long the person lived here, and any particular community events in which the person was involved. It might also contain information about a memorial service.
