The AAAAA Series had its kickoff event on Sunday, September 29, featuring resident Lisa Shannon.   We heard about her time spent abroad as a teacher in Turkey and learned about its amazing history and culture. We also enjoyed sampling Turkish appetizers, including stuffed grape leaves, two types of baklava, and Turkish delights!  Thank you, Lisa.

On Sunday, October 13, we will hear from our first Athlete of the series. Fred Selby, our GHCPA  President, has been an athlete for many years, competing in various types of triathlons. We’ll hear about his preparation for a race including training, diet, and the like as well as what that type of competing feels like! Please join us.
